Tourism in the Hacienda Nápoles

The Nápoles farm was established in 1978 by Pablo Escobar and his cousin Gustavo Gaviria, with 3,000 hectares. With the extinction of domain by the State, it became a family recreation center, outdoors, with different themes, with hotels, swimming pools, animals and more. The Nápoles farm is located in Puerto Triunfo, municipality of Antioquia, 4 hours away from Medellin.

The Tour of the Nápoles farm leaves daily from Wednesday to Sunday, with a duration of 14 hours.


Departure time: 6:00 am

Meeting point for shared tourism : Parque del Poblado or Estadio Metro Station.

Meeting point for private tourism : Hotel lodging.


Per person when it is shared tourism :

Adult $180,000

Children older than 5 years $140,000

Children under 5 years $ 20,000 (entrance to the park is not included, not breakfast)

Per person when it is private tourism :

When it is 1 Adult $ 1,150,000

When there are 2 adults, each one pays $690,000

When there are up to 3 or 4 people, each one pays $500,000

When there are up to 5 or 7 people, each one pays $460,000

When there are more than 8 people, each one pays $330,000

Hacienda Nápoles

At the Hacienda Nápoles there was a bullring, cars, jet skis, motorcycles for tourist rides. It had a zoo, with rhinos, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, and many more. It was a meeting place for many visitors, from those close to Pablo to the associates of the Medellin cartel. The State extincted ownership of the Hacienda Nápoles. The theme park began more than 16 years ago, it has a museum, copies of dinosaurs.

Puerto Triunfo is a municipality 3 hours from Medellin, in the Magdalena Medio area, it has many hotels.

Doradal is a district of Puerto Triunfo, a small settlement with a Mediterranean style, where the Hacienda Nápoles is located, being the largest tourist attraction, and is followed by the Claro River Canyon.
